DAG Announces Fall 2014 Auction Schedule

Five Major Sales Across 5 Categories

Dallas Auction Gallery released their Fall 2014 Auction Schedule, featuring five major sales at their Gallery at 2235 Monitor Street located in the Dallas Design District:

10 September Asian Works of Art
1 October Fine Silver and Decorative Arts
29 October American and European Fine Art
19 November Fine Jewelry
20 November Vintage Couture and Luxury Goods

DAG has enjoyed remarkable success and significant volume increase over the past several sales.  What began as a regional auction house 10 years ago, has grown into an international business with bidders from more than 40 countries. DAG’s Spring season culminated in a remarkable sale featuring a two-part bronze “Summer Dance” by Dame Barbara Hepworth ($962.5k) and a Jacques Lipchitz lead sculpture, “The Meeting” ($687.5k).

“We have some extraordinary pieces from several high-profile estates that will be featured this Fall.  We continue to post impressive numbers from our international bidders, and our overall gallery sales have increased more than 300% in two years.  The DAG family takes great pride in building relationships with both consignors and bidders worldwide.”
