American and European Art Sale on April 30

Adriane Shuford Crosland named Vice President Fine Arts and Institutional Services

DALLAS (February 13, 2014) – Dallas Auction Gallery announces their April 30th American and European Fine Art Sale.   The auction will showcase an impressive gathering of paintings, sculpture, works on paper and prints.  Included in the sale are selected pieces from the estate of Mary Jo Vaughn Rauscher, lifetime Dallas resident, civic leader, globetrotter and collector.

Significant pieces include:

Jacques Lipchitz, lead sculpture “The Meeting”, 1913

Barbara Hapworth, polished bronze grouping “Summer Dances”, 1971

Victor Pasmore, oil & gravure on board “Linear Motif” 1966/67

DAG Vice President Adriane Shuford Crosland was appointed Vice President Fine Arts and Institutional Services.  Ms. Crosland has been with the Gallery since 2003, most recently dedicating her time to Appraisals and Institutional Services.
