The Philip Maia Collection of European Art and Antiques

DALLAS (January 16, 2017) –  Dallas Auction Gallery presents a rare NO RESERVE auction on two evenings, January 25 and January 26 at 6:00 pm at 2235 Monitor Street in Dallas, Texas. The formidable collection of European art and antiques, numbering 391 lots, is the expertly curated collection of esteemed Dallas dealer, Mr. Philip Maia, whose galleries were a Design District institution for 35 years.


The NO RESERVE sale offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire quality investment grade European art and antiques including case pieces, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, lighting, mirrors, decorative accessories and works of art. Many of the larger scale case pieces are suitable for commercial installations (hotels, clubs, high rise residential towers and office buildings) as well as large residences. The auction, divided into two sales, is scheduled as follows:

Session 2: 198 lots, Thursday, January 26, beginning at 6:00 pm
